Buttered Apple Grog

1 oz apple brandy (3 cl, 1/4 gills)
2 oz apple juice (preheated to a boil) (6 cl, 1/2 gills)
1 oz dry vermouth (3 cl, 1/4 gills)
1/2 pat butter (1 1/2 oz, 4.5 cl, 3/8 gills)
Add a piece of baked apple in glass
Add sugar-to taste
Serve in a rocks glass (6.0 oz)
