Port Wine Sangaree

1/2 oz water (1.5 cl, 1/8 gills)
1/2 tsp sugar, dissolved in water (2 dashes)
2 oz Port (6 cl, 1/2 gills)
Several ice cubes
Fill with soda
Add nutmeg
Float 1/2 oz brandy (1.5 cl, 1/8 gills)
Serve in a highball glass (9.0 oz)
