Description
Generic puree of tomatoes, vinegar, sweetening, & spices - invented (in its tomato form - 85 years earlier the first ketchup recipe contained none) in 1812 and rarely called for in mixed drinks, and always in Bloody Mary variants. "Catsup" is a spelling variant of the earlier "ketchup".
